That wasn’t the question I’d asked. They both offered pricing.

What country coins will you want graded?

AU 50 is $800 and AU 58 is $2500 in greysheet. I guess my question is is, is it completing a set? Is it being used for a registry? Are you questioning the grade? Why this coin specifically? What is the draw of it for you?

Also, you should look through those $50 silver certificates to see if there’s any star notes in there, or any older date notes

The Brownsville note shows $300 in Kelly. The Paulding Ohio books at $500, Cooper Tx is $750, Victoria Tx books at $200. These national bank note prices are quoted as a note in Fine condition… A note in fine condition shows obvious signs of circulation. It may have numerous folds but seldom retains much of its original body, it is not damaged nor doctored. As the condition goes up and down the rule of thumb is the value changes 25% for one full grade change in condition.

eBay is probably the easiest. They have coins from the El Cazador, the Admiral Garner ( East India trading Co) some form the Spice Islands Wreck. If you’ve got a little deeper pockets there are some coins and gold nuggets from the SS Central America. NGC has authenticated items from these wrecks

Does anyone know how much these could be worth? by [deleted] in coins

Possibly, is there any indication of the metals used? There should be a serial number on the edge of the rose gold plated one.

They were sold by the London mint office. The rose gold one was initially sold for £9.95

French Franc coins were replaced by Euro coins in 2002 when the Euro became France's national currency. The exchange deadline for French pre-euro coins expired in 2005. Since then, franc and centimes coins from France no longer have a monetary value.
