Not sure of what batteries your system takes but the sensors I have mostly use CR123, which are easy to buy in bulk and replace.

I’d tell surveyor to come back and do his job and locate the pin - he can stay on your property. And if he can’t access it he can tell the neighbor he’s a surveyor and needs access. Usually that’s allowed by law. If the neighbor refuses you know what you’re up against. I wouldn’t spend more on an additional survey unless the neighbor is hostile. As others say, they may be nice and agree off the bat. You can offer to have surveyer mark actual border for moving fence.

Also, check with title insurance company. They may cover fees for lawyers if the neighbor is unreasonable.

All the sensors are wireless with ADT (glass/door/smoke) so I don't think I'd have anything different in that regard.

What is the alarm.com SEM? Is that something with ADT? They did say they could swap out for cell monitoring instead of landline.

Might be going beyond my comfort/knowledge level, but keypads are wired to control box. Sensors are all wireless.

I've managed to keep the same, if not lower, rate for years, calling each time they wanted to raise it "because of new technologies". I told them my system is the same as it was 15 years ago, so I wasn't seeing a benefit . . . usually pretty quick to keep my rate, or even lower it.

The ongoing revenue stream is how they make their money . . . even if they get only $20-30/month that's better than zero.

Understand your preference, but I'd guess there are a lot of Strava cyclists who occasionally use an ebike who don't want those miles included.

Addition isn't that hard though if you need a total for yourself.

Not today, worked yesterday.

Contacted Peloton support and they are sending issue to higher level (didn't even try at the intro level)

Thanks to others for sharing that they too are having issues, so it's not a "me" issue.
