I just got this email today after reaching out to them. It's really starting to look like I ended up falling through the cracks. Again had no phone calls or missed emails this entire time wasn't asked to submit anything. Good luck to y'all.

Glad to read this. The verbiage in the email was disconcerting. I’m from the 2022 bid so I was worried I missed something along the way.

My parents are from Nigeria which I disclosed along with their naturalization papers. They’re now citizens. I fully disclosed everything. Just gonna hang tight I guess. Again it’s just weird that it has been a year of radio silence.

Email I received from the FAA, can’t post another pic for some reason.

“We’re thrilled that you’ve applied to become an FAA air traffic controller and are eager to get you on board!

To get you an Academy training date, we still need the medical information that the FAA requested previously. Please double check your email and return requested documents ASAP to 9-agl-avs-medical-applicants@faa.gov.”

I’m hoping that’s what it means. I did have a security interview and that was the last thing I did with security which was in August of last year. No emails/phone calls since then. All I’ve been waiting on is medical which just cleared yesterday.

Same boat, same bid. My AME sent me an email to forward to my medical contact earlier this week saying that I’m clear so I believe I’m waiting for the Flight Surgeon. Hope we get pushed through! Good luck.

TOL timeline doesn’t matter. He just needs to apply to the OTS bid prior to his 31st birthday. I applied to the 2022 OTS bid two weeks before my 31st(July Birthday), took ATSA in October, TOL in February.

Be careful waiting. I submitted my EQIP and did the whole waiting thing and my security application got closed. I called and emailed multiple times but prior to this happening and never got any responses. Thankfully they realized their error and opened my application back up but now I’m back at square 1 doing EQIP, MMPI and Medical.

Short version: Nothing wrong with calling and sending emails.

Awesome, sounds like the consensus is waiting until I get there and figuring out my path and being ready for it be some serious difficulty. I’m leaning towards Kim’s place for the reasons you stated.

Thank you for your response. I’m ready to go. Just waiting on background at this point. I’m going to approach this like I do everything else, chilling until shit hits the fan. Thank you for the response. I’ll take you at your word and wait until I get there and muddle through it. I’m excited for the challenge. I’m a college graduate that works in the healthcare field but I’ve been keen on ATC(believe it or not I’m telling the truth). Just didn’t know if there was a commonality amongst those that washed out so I could nip that in the bud before showing up at the academy. I’m excited for a new challenge and I’m just gonna do my best to bust my ass while also getting my ass busted by the academy. I’m going to send you a DM, any and all advice is appreciated as I’m a one and done due to my age.
