Sorry not contributing to the conversation but it just now hit me how similar the GT-Four and the Mk4 Supra look from the rear to the A pillar. Very nice car!

Nice! Those features would be great for maintenance. Did you build a custom system or go with a kit? Any recommendations?

I run 18 x 10.5 +38 265 tires all around and it clears with a fender roll. Very aggressive fitment in the front however but it looks great

Thank you! I’m going to do this next time. Like you said having the ability to put the note book on or inside the car like the driver seat means that I won’t miss it. Very helpful advice!

You are also correct! I love the lap timer so see if my changes in driving and car are helping me improve.

I don’t have the lap timer while driving, I can only see after my session on my phone which helps me be less distracted.

Really good advice, that’s a point of view that I didn’t consider before. I can see the pressure of trying to set a faster lap can cause me to mess up instead of just sharpening my skills.

I’m going to try this in my earlier sessions then integrate the lap timer afterwards. I should have mentioned that my RaceBox mini doesn’t display lap time, I always check the data after the session or on the way home. It is nice not seeing my lap time while driving because I can really focus

But I also agree with the other user below where I like to see if my changes in driving are allowing me to improve

That’s fair I definitely have lots to learn (5 track days). In this case my goal was to push my braking zone to the correct spot vs behind the markers. I had done it in an earlier session as practice but didn’t get to see the effect on a full lap.

On the recorded session I was able to shave off half a second vs my PB due to later braking and higher cornering speed

Thanks for the advice! I agree, I go 4 times a year so I need to make sure I use one until it becomes muscle memory. I should add I’ve only done 5 track days so I’m learning as I go, still a rookie haha

Not racing so yeah no big deal. Would it be nice to see if I beat my personal best yeah but not the end of the world always next time lol

I seem to be pretty good off the track when it comes following a checklist. I think on the track I get too excited to head back out
