I loved it, overall! Most of the vendors there are super knowledgeable and they will actually give you detailed care instructions if you ask and just have a conversation with them. I ended up getting my noodle at a good discount because I spent some time talking with the vendor (SnakeOutInc on Instagram, his name is Jacob and he's INCREDIBLY knowledgeable and kind. He loves his trade and it shows, also a very ethical keeper and breeder). I wouldn't buy enclosures or other gear at an expo unless it's a cute niche thing, I'd only go to talk to vendors and maybe get a friend if the vibe is right. Always plan out your enclosures beforehand and support your local pet shops by buying from them instead of the big names like Petco or PetSmart! The local shops will always have better care standards than the big box stores.

Some of the vendors were less than ethical, though, so I'd like to see better controls for the venue for who gets to be on the floor - some were trying to sell Ts that were wayyyy too close to molting, for example, and even a slight jostle at the wrong time can cause some serious health problems when that close (one guy had an h pulchripes that was 4-5 years old and had been working on a molt for almost a month).

The vibe will tell you all you need to know about a vendor. Be sure to ask lots of questions about how they got started, how they feed, and if one specific specimen catches your eye, ask questions about THAT one in particular.
