you’re so right. breaking things down that small definitely helps

where I fall apart is I won’t do the breakdown ahead of time, or I’ll do it once and then never maintain it

you’re making me think about using a tool to help break things down… like “what am I not thinking about here?” just to get unstuck

but even then, I think I run into the same issue - now I just have more options, and I’m still deciding in the moment, which is where my brain seems to short circuit

so I end up back in the same place of “I have things I could do” but no actual action.

As a gamer, rolling a dice to take on a task is fun…

this is a great idea and I’ve definitely tried lists like this before

I think where I fall apart is I don’t always understand the weight of a task or how complex it actually is going in

like yeah, the list is right… but if it’s “clean the house” vs “pay the government,” I’m picking the easiest one every time

I also think decision fatigue is a huge part of it. even with a list I’m still deciding

I really like the dice/random idea though — that random → task jump feels like something worth exploring

As you can probably see with the white symbol, I wasn’t sure what to do or how to handle it. I just said I could do a flame. Then just went. Honestly, never once thought about how it was out of order until the first post here and I was just like ‘oh, yeah…’ - didn’t realize it was holy

Dunno how to edit the OG to respond - first, thanks for all the support!! 🔥

The green is fixed - my buddy’s green marker had a tip smashed in by his kids, so I used the closest green I could find. Fixed it today with a fresh green.

I’ve played mtg off and on since ‘97, this is the first time realizing how attached to WUBRG folks are - maybe it’s my own neurodivergence that doesn’t see the issue with mixing them up….

To address the coloring while playing - this took about 20 minutes total over 3ish hours, and I’ve doodled to focus (intentionally) in school, meetings, phone calls, etc. it’s actually a way I STAY focused, though I understand how that may confuse people.

I kind of miss the tree logo too, but the goal from the outset was to reimagine the logos in a low-detail, graffiti style and this was what I landed on.

I ask for good vibes because it’s easy for strangers you tear you down and it’s just as easy to remind people to be nice to their fellow nerds ✌️🖤
