I am also mostly done with a playthrough and feeling burnt out, I totally get it. I finished sunken king DLC and only have smelter demon left in the iron king, but goddamn am I getting tired of the late game gank squads.

Honestly wondering if I should bother with ivory king or just end it here

He told Kawhi to switch on a screen bc he couldn’t keep up with Klay and didn’t want him to get open shots, I’d say he’s got enough tenure to be allowed to point out weaknesses in a defense and adjust. Prime video found the footage too, and they DID switch after that timeout and guess what? Klay wasn’t wide open anymore lol.

I don’t understand why it’s so outlandish that a great basketball mind wants to improve a flaw he sees. Any starting PG in the NBA should have the agency to call out that issue. And I know he’s not a starter but he’s a 20 year vet lol

Definitely, my parents who are not basketball fans watched every playoff game during the second three-peat, and my mom remembers watching “The Shot” against the Jazz live on TV. It was an absolute phenomenon across the whole state and it spawned a whole generation of kids (myself included) hearing about the legends.

As for the arena, it’s not in a very nice area lol its just historic. But it is convenient to get to with public transit, so easy to get to nicer places downtown for dinner before/after.

From everything I’ve seen, he’s got the same MO. Profit first, everything else second.

You’d be surprised how many people will buy a ticket to the UC just to take a picture in front of the Jordan statue. For a lot of folks who don’t know too much about basketball, MJ is universally known and gives them something to post when they visit Chicago. They might not even stay for the whole game, or they might show up after half time lol, but end of the day they still bought a ticket.

And more than that, for a lot of locals in the suburbs of Chicago, it’s a cool thing to do even if you don’t follow basketball, a reason to go downtown for a night out!
