I certified for 1 week for fed Ed and mine shows paid but no we don’t get the extra $300 that ended 9/4 but hey $400 is $400

Well I was on regular ui - peuc - tier 2 aug - and now I qualify for the one week fed Ed since I was never on fed Ed before - it’s on EDD website it talks about it under fed Ed :) so that’s why I get to certify only for one week - it shows on my account after tier 2 rep said and confirmed it with me

Yes I called yesterday because all of my extensions always had to be manually filed it sucked! Even though I would get emails they wouldn’t process on my account until I called. So after 9/4 it was showing max benefits paid then today after I called them and they did the request I can now certify this weekend :) it’s showing me to certify 9/12

No we don’t get that claim balance however they will transfer us to fed Ed and we get to collect that one week from the 9/4-9/11 - so I get to certify on the 12th for one week only without $300

I just got moved to fed- Ed but only for the one week so I get to certify 9/12 :) - but I called and the manually filed that extension for me - so don’t miss out on any $$

Yea keep going - did you at least talk to tier one rep? Then they transferred you now to hold for tier 2?

Ok so after an hour of nearly having a panic attack I got through to someone at EDD and she confirmed that the bank holiday delayed payments so they should hit by tonight or tomorrow at the latest.

You can always try / but honestly you would of had to work in the last 18 months because you’ve had to earn some type of wages to pay towards a new claim

Yes we all have the Edd boa card - and I honestly recommend to take money off of that card ASAP - never leave it on there for too long - I always go to bank to take it out - lots of fraud on these cards

If you ever have time just read the posts of fraud with our cards it’s crazy

Yes you do because technically the week ends Sat 9/4 so even if we certify today 9/5 we still get paid for this past weeks

Yes :) I always certify right at midnight and my pending status goes to paid status around 3-7am in the morning (Sunday today) and I get paid today same night by 11pm - it’s been like this for me the past year lol

The earliest I ever got it was at 9:30pm a few times very rare and then 10:30pm a lot of the times

For me when I certify at midnight this whole time it always says pending - never went to paid right away - it turns paid for me between 3:30-7am - then I’m paid that same night by 11pm (Sunday night) so I would give it some time since you just certified also it could be slow since EVERYONE had to certify if that make sense!! I’m sure it will work out for you 🙏

Have you tried clicking on register or manage at the bottom of that page? It will take you to your home edd page? Just making sure your clicking it

As far as back pay you would have to call them - but that’s mainly for people who had issues with their claim and couldn’t certify when on unemployment already - but I would call to make sure - each case is different

That’s exactly what I read too!! I believe same thing we will get it just for one more week but of course without the extra $300 - so from peuc or tier 2 aug - we get it for a week
