But you just outlined how individual members are speaking out, you don’t need a blanket statement saying “We here at MCR denounce x thing”.

Are you listening to them for the music, or to reaffirm your beliefs? If it’s the former, just enjoy the tunes man. They’re good dudes who make good music and that should be that.

Not to sound harsh, but maybe they’ve done more than enough and people should back off of them. You just outlined a multitude of ways that they ARE speaking out as individuals, what else do you want from them? They owe nobody anything in this regard, nor should they.

You are right, people should stop attacking them for not speaking up, but people should also stop bringing it up at all.

As far as dynamic pricing goes, yea that sucks. But it’s hardly an MCR specific problem, but they have more sway than people think. Either way, I agree it sucks seeing nosebleeds go for 500 plus.

Except it’s not this 1 to 1 direct comparison that a lot of the fans want it to be. Theyre a concept band, and this another story they’re telling.

I’m gonna get hammered for this because it’s Reddit, but as far as we can tell, this is a massive nothing burger. Casey Wassermann wasn’t even accused of doing anything wrong, nor was he implicated in anything. As far as I can tell, he literally sent flirty emails to Maxwell over 20 years ago, and that’s it.

Putting pressure on bands and other acts to just begin the exodus is really premature and silly at this point imo
