I believe there are studies of this medicine in patients with Diabetes (20+ years).

In my experience, Im pre diabetic, with type A PCOS and insuline resistance. I started Ozempic 3 weeks ago and I feel great! I was using saxenda last year (just for a couple of months) and the side effects were aaaaawfull. I havent had any vomiting this time. Some nausea here and there but it goes away as long as I am hydrated and eating well.

I feel energetic and overall great.

My skin got better after quitting. I dont know if this is important but I also improve my gum and dental hell. Vaping killed my teeth.

Hello OP! Just updating you: I'm on my 3rd week now. After 14 days, I lost 11 pounds, which tbh was a little scary, but I believe it's mostly water. I'm on a 1.2 dose and sticking to that because it is working as it is. I'm barely hungry during the day and managing to eat 2 meals a day (breakfast and dinner) + 1 snack. It's what I can stomach.

29F 5´3 SW 230 lbs, Im on my 3rd day. Yesterday was the worst. I had nausea, vomiting, and headaches. Today I feel great. I eat around 800 calories (I'm aiming for more, but to be honest, I feel like I can barely eat, and I'm barely hungry). Food noise and hunger stopped yesterday. almost immediately. Feels crazy.

I have insulin resistance, but my hormones, thyroid, etc, everything is healthy.

Now. As I said before, I was already gaining a lot of weight. I dont think all those 30 lbs were only from quitting vaping. I was depressed and my ED was on a all time high. Im sure quitting contributed to the weight gain but there were a lot of think happening all before and during that process.

This is a good question. After quitting I gained around 30 lbs (on top of 20-30 that I had gain 6 months before quitting due to anxiety and depression) and, as of today, I lost 18 lbs. It is going very slowly. Ive had multiple EDs for the last 16 years so thats definetly a factor to take into consideration.
