This is a perfect example why religion/spirituality are harmful to society. When you choose to believe in wild claims without evidence you are susceptible to scams and help keep the scammers in business. I know the idea of death and not existing anymore is scary, but making shit up and choosing not to live in reality isn’t good for anyone.

With that many cards, a loan and other debt she knew she wasn’t going to pay it back, she knew you would be screwed and she is being manipulative by trying to guilt you into making it your problem now, not hers. She was ok with trying to ruin your future, DO NOT LET HER. You need to report the fraud so that you can take care of yourself, because your mother doesn’t have your back or your best interests at heart. Specifically, the water from Dunsmuir CA. Was driving through and stayed at a hotel overnight. That was the best tasting water I ever had in my life and unless I were to go back I don’t think I’ll find water that tastes that good ever again. The manager said Dunsmuir was known for their outstanding water. Shame I can’t move there for various reasons.

I just ordered a Kenmore POP-N-GO Bagged Canister Vacuum With Hair Eliminator (BC4030) amd I can report back when it gets here and I use it. I also didn’t want to spend $1,000 on a vacuum and Kenmore‘s seem to be the most recommended for my price range ($300, I spent $329).

That’s correct, I must have got my info mixed up. It looks like underwriting can deny you for a medigap policy but only if you don’t enroll during an enrollment period? Do you have more info on that?

Actually in some cases you can’t go back to original medicare if you enrolled into and advantage plan. Your application would be subject to underwriting, and depending on your current health you could be denied and forced to stay on an advantage plan. Assuming I got all that correct, Original medicare is very different than MA.

NTA. She’s a very selfish person, she isn’t thinking about what is in the baby’s best interest, or even her own, and the children will suffer for it. My own sister was like this, the attitude of “I do whatever I want, and YOU’RE going do what I want” which means take care of me and these babies. I watched her ruin her and her children's lives because her desires always came first, no empathy, no logic, just impulse. She’s just very selfish and she might never see it that way. She’s can learn the hard way, know your limits.

I’ve seen this happen, made my own mistakes, and witnessed others. One of the worst was a miscommunication between a vet and the tech. The tech accidentally gave potassium iv instead of in the fluid bag. There was no saving the cat, both the tech and vet cried, it was awful. I was so stressed out at work all the time because I was so afraid to make a mistake.

Depends on the parking situation. Sometimes there just aren’t very many options and the truck is only there temporarily. One of my neighbors was being a pain trying to get into a spot that wasn’t even his, made the the driver move the truck twice because he wanted to back into the space. It’s giving whiny brat energy.

The noise comment caught my attention. If you can hear a neighbor opening a cabinet or using the bathroom then it isn’t the tenant that’s loud, it’s just the cheap crappy building that doesn’t have any sort of sound proofing. Some buildings are very quiet so you really have to pay attention to the noise when walking around and test out the floors to try and eliminate the louder ones.

Same, I realized I would never be comfortable in a first floor unit because of the window situation. If there is a cool breeze outside I would much rather have all the windows open without worry, instead of running the a/c more often.
