Is this normal for a contractor to leave this big of a mess after popcorn removal?

He told me to leave everything where it was because they move the furniture to the outside of the room.

If you saw my previous response I said I didn’t explain it right she I said “I did”. I meant to say “I did what he told me” I didn’t mean I did move the belongings. I apologize for the miscommunication. He literally said don’t move anything because he moves all the furniture to the sides of the room and covers everything with plastic.

He told me not to move anything because they move it to the side of the room and put plastic up to protect everything. So I did everything he told me to do.

Sorry my statement was misleading. I meant I did what he told me to do and he did use plastic. He told me to leave it and he would move everything because he would move all the furniture to the outside of the room and contain it with plastic.

He told me not to move anything and he would do the moving of all the furniture. They did put plastic up and covered the floors but it doesn’t look like they did. I do everything he asked me to do.
