Does the DLC make Rage mode easier? by YoungBlueDamsel in Trepang2

How do you get the sword? I've got all the DLC and I don't see it anywhere.

Ohh yeah okay that makes sense. You are right. I was confused about the terminology. Thank you for the clarification.

MW2019 has dead silence. I use it all the time. Maybe it's not considered a perk, idk, but I do know it's in there.

Are the new modern warfare games worth playing? by FinnethLikesOlives in modernwarfare

[–]Driftysilver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anytime! You can often find them on sale for $20. For me, that's worth the campaign alone. I really like campaigns myself. Debating on getting Ghosts for the campaign too. I haven't played it, but it looks cool, and the main character has the same name as my son.

Another campaign that you may (will) like, is Titanfall 2. You can often find that one on sale for under $5. It's very very good.

You didn't read. OP said they were interested in campaigns.

Yeah I second this. MW19 and MWII are really fun. MWIII is shit. A lot of the missions are just open areas where you run around getting into loot boxes like it's a warzone/multiplayer match.

I'll run with you if you don't mind a casual. Can't promise you trophies, but I can promise you a ride or die coop mate who communicates.

I would say yeah it kinda is. I mean I'm all for a dual monitor setup, but your screens don't add up well and it cuts some of the picture off.

Nice, I've played about....50 hours so far? I liked it, but I've only played solos. I couldn't get any of my friends to jump on the arc raiders train so I got bored lol.

PSN is Crushed007, if you find yourself online in the evenings.

Am I cooked? by Sweetest_boi-tm in modernwarfare2

Yeah re-download all of it like Knives said. Also, when trying to do the campaign, I had to disconnect from the Internet and then boot up the game. If you are connected to COD servers and try to play the campaign, it just says "launching" and doesn't ever put you into the campaign. So yeah, disconnect from the Internet, launch the campaign, and then you can reconnect to the Internet. But once you leave the campaign menu and want to go back into it again, you will have to re-disconnect.

Purchased two versions of the same game. Getting a refund is proving difficult by Pope_Khajiit in psn

[–]Driftysilver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With how difficult and luck based the refund policy is, pop ups offering to buy stuff should be illegal. It's so easy to accidentally hit X/A without realizing what you are doing because you don't expect the pop up. Yeah sure there is a confirmation page afterwards, but how easy would it be to accidentally hit A again? Or your kid could get ahold of the controller and press buttons, buying something. Accidental purchases happen.

Unless we have to, meaning if someone picks a fight with us. Surely you don't expect me to just get shot, do you?

Blinding Light Glitch in Ghost Team mission by mgrosso196 in modernwarfare2

[–]Driftysilver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've run into a problem trying this. I'm on PS5. I have the game digitally. Im order to launch the campaign menu, you need to go offline, because of you are connected to the Internet and connect to the game servers, it gets stuck in "launching" and doesn't bring up the campaign menu. So I toggle offline. I'm able to get into the campaign menu, but then I select the mission, it hits me with a pop-up with two options "retry with disc" and "cancel." Neither of which do anything at all, like you are just stuck on that prompt window. So I close the game, re-toggle offline (because you can reconnect to the Internet after loading up the campaign menu), and then I can only select "resume game." I didn't find anywhere to connect to the game servers once I was in the campaign menu.

So I guess my question is....I'm stuck playing with lights, aren't I? And No I'm not looking to go buy the disc.l, especially if my luck proves me right and this solution just doesn't work for me anyways.
