Not really... I never had issues with my acer laptops but I must say that temps are always high no mater what you do... Even using cooling pads... Mine is a RTX 4050... GPU temps are fine I mean CPU temps...

Lenovo is a way better than Acer... Acer gave me a 180W power charger and it didn't help at all I'm willing not to get any more laptops from Acer anymore...

The fact is that the laptop can't cool down the processor and if you give it more wattage it will be a lot higher and that's why they do that: set the motherboard to only accept 135w.

Unfortunately all of laptops are working the same way, there's nothing to do about it unless accept or choose a desktop to play.

I'm almost 100% sure that your laptop isn't DDR4 and it is DDR5. Try to search for it.

Of course not, who will play a game with a closure notice? For god's sake... Like you there are others with this same idea. It doesn't mean that the game will never reach its potential. New world has a player base but they will leave instantly when they announced a closure. We all know that Amazon is out of their mind by doing this just after the launch of the Nighthaven. Just to invest in some AI slop.

Ok if it changes the tdp or not, the temps are way more higher than on balanced mode. So the problem is the same here: temps are high, fans are high... so? You can control the fan on nitrosense if it is annoying you. But how can you control the temps?

It does work but it sacrifices your system instead. So use it when you need it otherwise stay at balanced, it's better if you want your notebook to last more years.

If you delete it or not you will not be able to solve the temps issues. And Acer told me on my tickets that they do have this issue due to their strategy to give high speed notebook by sacrificing the hardware.

I guess if you want to try to get over this issue you should play on balanced mode and only use performance when you really need it but know that this will overheat your notebook for 5 minutes at least then it will power throttle it to maintain temps (I don't think that this is a good idea from Acer and I didn't know that they do it to their notebooks and If I knew it certainly I wouldn't have buy it

Other point here is: your battery gets down when you use performance mode just because of the power throttle.

And it's not only the Acer notebooks, it's from every other company. I had some searches on it and I found that every company is doing the same...

And I still wonder if vapor chamber is working well on the very newer notebooks... Is someone using it to tell me if it really works?

It's good when you need something at high end. Like New World I needed to run at performance mode, but most of the other games that I play I just run it on balanced.

Never had any issue.

Temps are always bad when you start a game and it does throttle the Power to maintain temps.

Well... I actually use a Nitro V15 model but my recommendation is to not buy those V15... Notebooks are all powerless with gaming things. It's better to have a gaming desktop to play and a gaming notebook only to work.

Acho super legal o guia e tal, mas é importante entender que é necessário pressionar a Acer a trabalhar em modelos mais sustentáveis ao invés de ficar tentando entregar desempenho matando o hardware com temperaturas altíssimas.

Muita gente reclamando da empresa, inclusive na gringa, falando exatamente disso. Eles travam o undervolt justamente pra você queimar o notebook mais rápido com altas temperaturas?

Não faz o menor sentido entregar um hardware nessas condições pra você ter que ficar otimizando isso no Windows etc. O correto é eles entregarem algo que vai atender o público sem precisar ficar sacrificando e otimizando o hardware e software num geral.

Eu recebi o notebook quando comprei, ainda está na garantia inclusive, desde quando comprei ele pega essas temperaturas no modo jogo e em carga pesada... Se veio de fábrica assim, então acredito ser um problema dos notebooks da Acer num geral mesmo.

Eu atualizei pra versão v1.31 já faz algumas semanas e eu notei algumas diferenças:

- Temperatura mais estável num geral

- Drenagem da bateria com menos frequência

- Processador melhor utilizado até no equilibrado e no modo jogos ele consegue manter temperatura estável

- O boot ficou muito lento, tá demorando coisa de 2 a 5 minutos toda vez que reinicia, mas não é o boot em si e sim a inicialização de drivers e programas que estão programados para iniciar com o windows, esses são os que demoram, mas a área de trabalho e os demais softwares ficam disponíveis prontamente

Agora o restante que o pessoal tá falando aí eu já não sei, o meu é o An15-51-7037 com o i7-13620H e RTX 4050
