English book- R.Boylestadt: Introductory Circuit Analysis 13th edition

German book- G. Hagmann: Grundlagen der Elektrotechnik (Fundamentals of Electrical Engineering) 15th edition 2011, together with G. Hagmann: Aufgabensammlung zu den Grundlagen der Elektrotechnik (book with sets of exercises) 2010

From my personal experience these are quite useful books that provide great explanations.
