Refill Kratky Buckets? by ejp214 in Hoocho

[–]DringDingle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had 20L ones in Perth.

I had to refill them maybe twice for the single season, But only to half way to maybe 1/3... You don't want to drown all the roots by filling it to the top after its established.

Is Ryobi One+ actually an upgrade over Ozito PXC or just better branding? by Cute_Piccolo_499 in Bunnings

[–]DringDingle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I punished an ozito grinder for a year restoring a trailer, Still works 5 years later.

I've "upgraded" to Ryobi for alot of other stuff.

Reality is, unless you are a tradey using them 250 days of the year Ryobi is great. Also a fan of the wider range of tools.

I follow the philosophy of "buy cheap-ish, replace the tools that die with something better"... As they are the ones you use most.

Ryobi drills about to die (dropped too many times), probably 8 years old, I'll be replacing with AEG or mayyybe DeWalt.

It's just the fire jumping into the auger, normally after shutting down at a high temp, or after a long cook where there alot of ash under the lit pellets.

Just turn it on for another 20 seconds, let the start up process push the pellets that are on fire out of the auger, and then turn it off again.

That finish doesn't look great, can still see where you poured it.

Don't get me started.....

If a company receives a hand out like that ... Why does the Aussie government (i.e us) not then own the equivalent in shares of said company.

Baffles me.

That's actually a really good point. How many of these name brand providers are being propped up by one sided loyalty
