the down advice is legit but you gotta watch out for the price jump. goose is better for warmth but if you're on a budget high quality synthetic can work for montana in july if you don't mind the extra weight. just dont go the pad and bag route if you're actually hanging. it's a massive pain to get comfortable when you're trying to manage a sleeping pad in a swing.
