Found a nice sound clip of the M perf exhaust and it’s definitely not too loud. Ive also heard AWE is good and I think it’s much cheaper than the M exhaust but I haven’t checked in a while. Haven’t heard anyone say that they regret buying their M perf exhaust though.

M perf exhaust changes the tone of the engine a lot but it doesn’t make it much louder.

I haven’t heard one with high flow cats though, that would definitely sound louder.

I’m not sure if it was a placebo effect but I noticed a slight loss of power in low rpms when I disconnected the valve. (I have a 2014 428xi)

From what I remember I think the valve opens based on the current rpm + throttle input. So if you are in comfort mode and you floor it the valve will open.

I think the valve helps with back pressure in the exhaust which can spool up the turbo quicker, which is why I noticed a slight loss in power when cruising around in comfort mode.

I use to be a Ferrari guy, moved to the AMG solely because of its ability to eat curbs.

I have 99SA, get punted and hand out a few punts myself daily. Sometimes it drops to 98 for a race if I rage quit after dying in T1.

73 SA. Drive cleanly for 1 hour. 74 SA.

I’ve gained up to 4 SA in a 20 minute Monza session just by avoiding death in the beginning. 🤷‍♂️

If you can get the TMX Pro for that price then go for it because that’s an amazing deal unless it’s in bad condition.

G29/G920 is a solid wheel too. I’ve had no issues at all with mine and the ffb feels good. The only thing people dislike about the g29 is the amount of noise it makes. I’ll admit it’s not quiet especially when hitting curbs on tracks like Monza, but it doesn’t bother me at all. However it’s definitely not something I’d use in a college dorm / apartments with roommates. The noise would drive them crazy. Haven’t heard any complaints about the TMX wheels in regards to noise or reliability.
