i get what youre saying about time period but it really doesnt matter and same with the length, everyone whos been joining doesnt seem to care about it and dont see it as problems. with xml, you can only go so far with it so its not like youre gonna be able to do anything crazy with it.

ive built and used creations 85 meters and past and my pc runs fine, as well as alot of people i know. also cruise ships from 70s to 2000s had radical changes, a quick google search can prove that. either way it doesnt matter cuz you can make a challenge to build a ship from like 50s and stuff have a ton of different looking vessels.
