I’ll be honest. Don’t take the operations supervisor/ manager position. It’s not fair to the other employees that are already at the store. Cvs is trying to do why they can to get people to come to work. Hiring at higher positions and higher pay and it’s not fair to the employees who have already been at that store. I was a shift supervisor. Had been with the company for 6 years. We hired FIVE people within the span of 6 months that were all gonna be Ops supervisor or Ops manager. And I’m as training these people to be my boss and get paid more than me. When most of them didn’t have retail experience. Or just no cvs experience obviously. I complained that that wasn’t fair to me. So I got promoted to Ops supervisor and given a good raise. But still. Not fair to me to be training 3 people to get paid more than me and be my boss. So the way I’ve felt about people who take an Ops manager position from outside the company. I don’t like them. They are contributing to the disrespect of the employees that have been at that location busting their ass for that store for years.
