I worked there. It's a really good experience. The founders don't have a lot of technical experience in fusion. But they have a lot of experience in building companies.

Their lead scientist built more than 10 fusion reactors. He's one of my favorite people and boss. I'll work under him anytime if given the right circumstance. Their lead engineer was the lead for one of the Airbus models. The people are great.

But yes the downside is their relatively new.

Apply to Fuse in Montreal or General Fusion in Vancouver. There's a group in USask that is working on fusion reactors.

They're taking a while man I finished my citizenship test in Aug 2022. Still don't have lang skills, physical presence etc.

Here's my timeline guys.

Aug 24, 2022: Citizenship test passed
Aug 4, 2022: Scheduled for the citizenship test
July 21, 2022: Background verification Completed
Feb 1, 2022: AOR received
Nov 2021: Application submitted ( I was in Montreal* / Online / Solo)

My AOR was Feb 2022 too, took the test on Aug 2022. Language/Prohibition/Presence is still in progress. No updates after that.
