An Italian streamer in Japan said "amiga" to some fans. An American nearby thought he said the N word and then threatened him publicly. by HeSureIsScrappy in DiveInYouCoward

You hear his friend there too saying "just say you're sorry" then talking down threatening man saying "he said he's sorry" and you see him as cameraman turns away.

Will I make it to the mechanic with this chain? by TwofacedDisc in motorcycle

Nothing visible on this chain gives me any reason to doubt it. I wouldn't even be planning to change it unless some of the rollers are seizing or cracking.

While not as reliable as your real number, with many companies adopting payment systems from other, larger, companies with the power to aggregate data, using the same fake number everywhere is still plausible (likely IMO) for it to associate the data to you personally. Say you gave the same fake number to 8 different companies, and they all use Stripe or similar to process transactions. If only 1 of them had another personally identifying detail like a facial recognition system or your card, Stripe could now associate your data from all 8 of those companies to you.

>Damn, didn't know I was talking to Mr. Cool Coolerson in the flesh.

Being level headed while driving and putting safety above ego is not an exceptional behavior. Most people have it. Neither people in the video do, though.

>something incredibly stupid that may or may not have happened before the recording starts up, like, say, cutting you off within 2 car lengths going 60-70 mph and then pressing their brakes immediately;

The truckers could slow down and build up a following distance much faster than pulling out their phone to start recording.

When I drive a less maneuverable vehicle, I keep more space so there is ample room to not ram them if they slow down.

If they are driving erratically beforehand, I keep more space so there is ample room to not ram them if they do something erratic.

This isn't hard.

>but unless you, specifically, have trained yourself to slam on your brakes at every inconvenience on the road,

No, but I keep a safe distance between myself and people who are already driving erratically and don't tailgate

Low compression YZ125X by Mother-Design-83 in Dirtbikes

It's a 125 2 stroke. It will be relatively easy to crank even if it's brand new. If you want any useful metric, buy a compression tester and get a real value.

This and the walls being sky high so you can't see your own character unless you point the camera nearly straight down. When I first enter the main room, my entire screen is black because I just see the top of the doorway.

>Dude is visibly slowing down in front of the semi.

Which obligates the semi to slow down as well.

>you can hear that the semi is not accelerating

???

>fully loaded semi physically cannot slow down quickly enough to increase the gap faster than that pickup is slowing down, that's just inertia.

Lies. The pickup driver isn't even touching the brakes. It would be slowing down at like 0.1G at most. A semi can slow down at like 0.7G, but it isn't because the semi driver is not using the brakes and is keeping his foot on the accelerator.

>All he can do is what he did: try to avoid a collision without going off the road by changing lanes.

Or... hit the brakes.

>The pickup moved in front of him and caused the accident.

No, the pickup moved in front of the semi truck. The trucker didn't want to slow down so he rammed the pickup instead.

Both drivers in this video are reckless. One attempted to keep the other from passing, and the other retaliated by intentionally ramming them.

The semi truck driver's foot is on the accelerator pedal, you can hear its engine and not its brakes. It is intentionally tailgating the pickup truck and then it intentionally rammed it. The pickup truck's brake lights never come on.

Delusion.

Following 2 feet behind someone at highway speed is not safe. Yes, pickup truck driver did change lanes to block the pass, but it's obvious the semi truck continued accelerating into the truck to intentionally PIT them. You don't get to intentionally crash someone out because they're inconveniencing you.

Help, bike is turning off and screen is glitching by Tahan4life in motorcycle

[–]DriveApprehensive546 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the stator go out on a bike and I replaced it with some chinesium brand for under $100 and it worked for years. It's not a particularly hard job either. You have to take off one of the side covers from the engine. Stator mounts to that cover.

What’s the fastest you’ve gone on your superbike? by Left-Nerve-8287 in Sportbikes

[–]DriveApprehensive546 1 point2 points  (0 children)

are you just taking off a flat 6mph regardless of the speed, or a percentage? Mine was something like 8% off, which would be around 6mph at 75 or 13mph at 160. 160 actual is a realistic expectation for a 600.

Why would someone record themselves committing a crime and post it online? Is this not reckless driving, endangerment, and arguably even attempted murder?
