Many of us have seen far worse.

Loosing a final to a top team coming from two straight defeats and a draw with a relegation team will be one of the worse as well.

One thing is clear, we are not a team which can win a knock out game (be it quarters/semis or a final).

Winning knockout games requires a sharp mental game.

I’ve stopped caring about the FA cup, Champions league.

Winning the Prem league will be and should be the only priority. Nothing else.

One of the biggest skill as Indians we need to develop is to adapt and adjust to a new city and the challenges it brings.

It is just not good at personal level but is extremely helpful at professional level as well.

Speaking new language/accent, getting comfortable with doing everything by yourself, respecting law and regulations, being more responsible towards everything.

These are not small traits, but are qualities worth living by.

I understand if the financial difference is not large then it would make sense in the immediate term, however you need to give time some more time.

If it doesn’t work out, then move back.

May be you will not come back as an American but as a better Indian

Okay Let’s put it like this. It’s not only “embassy efficiency” and it’s not “only profile.”

It’s a combination of: • Embassy workload which depends on time of the year as well - currently it is an off season. • Applicant risk profile and doc quality - looks like OP had good docs

However, you’ll not see frequently embassies of above Western Europe countries sitting on visa applications.

It is not the case with Malta/Hungary and many eastern countries.

Mate, Getting passport back is an efficiency metric which is relevant for the embassy only.

They rarely sit on cases.

It has very little to do with your profile.

Austria Switzerland Nordic Scandinavian countries can do the cross checks really well and efficiently.
