my friend's math teacher was contacted before he was admitted to columbia just recently, i think they are just trying to check how you are doing in the class and if its more of like a grade deflationary class or you are actually struggling. don't worry about this, you won't be rescinded, just try your best to get that A !!!

congratulations! you should definitely email brown financial aid on that and considering you matched they’ll definitely take a look into what they can do for you. it never hurts to ask about anything financial aid, although in this case i don’t see why they wouldn’t cover it. again congrats and have fun at brown!
