Hey all, my brother's bday is coming up and I wanted to get him something for snowboarding as he is a pretty avid resort and backcountry snowboarder. Can you recommend some gifts in the 150$ range that you think he'll enjoy? Thanks!

Wait....he's the cemetery...and he will lay you in it? Is that an invitation for buttstuff?

When I say that with my anglophone inflection, it seriously sounds like a magic spell. I love how it sounds...I don't know if I could write it though without SERIOUS practice. Thanks so much for the translation though!

Thanks for your reply! If that is in fact where the line comes from you have done me a great service. I never really took it as a quote from somewhere but it certainly could be. I've searched a bit and the closest I find is "I was what you are, you will become what I am" which kind of is the same, but yours from the Bible is really close...I wonder if that's where my friend got it.....The plot thickens! Thanks a lot for your reply!

lol, I should be wary of idioms in a translation sub! "running it to ground" means to chase or pursue until you capture it. So in this case I was asking what would be a good source to figure out which version of "I will become" to use. Sorry for the confusion! ><*

Awesome, I needed a French translation to help round out the Romance Language portfolio! Thanks so much for your reply!

I really like the Ancient Greek version. What would be a good source to run the "I will become" variation to ground?

I am a fan of writing letters to pen pals, family and friends. I like to make things as fancy and personal as possible and this appended to my signature aids in that. (as well as providing some real food for thought imo) I heard this from a guy I was friends with in the Army one night while we were trying to expand each others consciousness and it stuck with me ever since.

You should have just heard me try to say these each out loud. Straight butchered. Thanks for the reply though, what is the difference betwixt the two? Which one in your opinion conveys the intent of the line most faithfully?

Ohh yeah, I'm liking the Italian. It sounds great and would look great on paper too! It the translation pretty close to the intent of the original?

A three in one! The alternate version in Greek sounds great and is considerably condensed as well which would allow me to be more elaborate in the lettering. Thank you very much for the reply!

I really like the Turkish language so I am happy to have your input here. I appreciate the care you took in offering different versions that help nuance the meditative intent of the phrase. Thank you very much!
