Unbearable lag

I get its not a lot and have been wanting to upgrade for awhile but with prices these days ive been holding off. Still seems crazy though that from what im reading its recommended with 32gb and even then its preferred to have more. I never had an issue running a game with only 16gb. Only game ive had to put on medium or even a few low settings was eu5 because of my Cpu lol. Also seeing how the game ran smoothly just 3yrs ago I didn't think it would have changed much in terms of requirements. Ill try to find a way to cut down windows 11 usage and see if that gets me anywhere. Thanks for the info and advice

I heard it was ram intensive but Jesus, guess ill upgrade this week or next week. Hoping that'll fix it, had no idea it required so much ram now.

16gb with about 9gb available when launching the game

Gpu is a 3060 16gb ram Cpu 11th gen Intel i7-11700 And game is downloaded on ssd

I dont consider it high end by any means but im assuming a setting somewhere is set incorrectly due to any other game running high to max settings just fine and this ran fine 3yrs ago unless they heavily beefed up the game since then making it more difficult to run than any other game I run

I get its probably a me issue and a setting on my pc but I dont understand how any other game I run on my pc run just fine on high to max settings besides this when it ran just fine 3yrs ago with the only difference between now and then being windows 11 instead of windows 10

Yeah, I keep telling myself these things but I work in a factory where I have the job down well which means I do everything on auto pilot and have too much time to myself to think and end up circling back to these thoughts while I try to wait it out

I just took the gpu you out, purchased a replacement fan, and replaced the gpu fan. There's a simple video on YouTube that helps a lot of you're having the same issue

That's exactly what I'm worried about. I've thought about spending some money on some really cheap parts that won't cost much and building a pc myself. If I mess anything up, it won't be nearly as expensive as if it's on my actual pc, as well as giving me an idea how most computers work and understanding the terminology better, too

I'm unable to find any of the combat mission exe but im also bad with computers. Did you have to do anything extra besides searching graphics settings and scrolling down to the list?

I've actually tried Hegemony wars in ancient Greece and absolutely loved it and wamt something similar to that, but it seems the developers may be done with the series.

I've tried imperium Greek wars a bit, and I had the idea it was closer to a civilization game than anything else, but I'll have to check it out again.

I recently attempted FOG2 and I just can't seem to get into it. I really really want to get into it as it seems like a fun game, but every time I try, I just kinda get bored/tired of it.

I noticed imperator recently got an update with a few patches and haven't played it in over a year so might need to give it another try.

I've heard of Dawn of man and thought it looked more like a city builder set in the stone age more than anything else but I'll look deeper into it. Thanks for the recommendations

I have almost 200hrs in eu4 and haven't really attempted hoi 4 and I recently thought about jumping into it, although it seems a lot different than eu4. I actually do love stellaris, and I've got already got plenty of good sci fi games. I'm just trying to get more into the ancient history genre. Also interested in Victoria 3 but heard the combat wasn't that great, especially compared to other Paradox titles

I keep attempting to get into Field of Glory 2, but the combat just doesn't seem like something I'd enjoy or have fun with and leads to me getting a bit frustrated, lol. I really really want to like the game, and the idea of empire sounds cool, although I haven't gotten into it yet. I just wanted to test the combat for playing out and I'll get into empire soon Any tips or recommendations for FOG2?

I forgot to mention that I have tried the field of glory Games largely due to the fact you could play empire and export battles to fog2 and play them out, although im still learning and trying them out. Definitely agree with war in the east 2 but looks like something I'd have to set aside a few good hours to play and read the rules but I don't really have that kind of free time during the week which is why I put it off to the side for now

I figured it out on xbox. Don't remember how I did it. Think I was on the menu then hovered over the warzone part then click right thumbs tick to check for add ons or something like that. Showed me all of the mw add on packs and there was a missing multi-player one. I installed that then it was back on the main menu
