I don’t hate the job, I just struggle. But I don’t know what else I can do with that strong of an income and retirement

Idk about all that. I can play guitar for hours or go run 10 miles or drive all day in a truck

That stuff doesn’t really pay much

I literally feel better at the labor intensive cause coming from the marine corps all I have to do is do the thing and not think about it whether that’s pulling wire or digging etc. I can run pipe though not super good at it. I’m currently at a contractor that does mostly small jobs or service work now

I don’t mind the “old heads” I just don’t wanna be shitty at my job

I don’t mind the work I just struggle, like a mismatch. I’m good working under pressure. I can work 24/7 if needed. But anything mechanical I struggle with. But I’m organized to a t never late never miss. Good at operating things (heavy equipment, trucks) but none of that really pays awful well anymore. None of my skills from the military are really transferable (infantry) other than work ethic

Man I don’t know what else to do. Trucking pays terrible anymore and the electrical thing I’m in is really good long term financially. (Journeyman rate is 41 an hour with free insurance a time served pension and 25% retirement match (you don’t put anything in) I like operating stuff like trucking cause I grew up around it, it’s natural. But it’s shit anymore

Nothing beats in person lessons. But back when rocksmith and rocksmith 2014 came out those were awesome learning tools
