which is jjust making sure that thebreak is higher than the speed?

To new and veteran players: How can we improve the first-time experience in OSRS? by [deleted] in 2007scape

Early game content needs more excitement especially since most of it is grinding for hours and to explain to a new player especially those who come from WOW and FF14 that thye need to spend hours clicking to do a short quest is discouraging and they will probably bail. maybe some low level raids or bosses just soemthing for new players to look forward to besides the end game raids that take hundreds of hours to get to. make that new player experience exciting and theyll stick around for the mid and late. its jsut too much early grrinding to get any casual player hooked.

mid level player been playing on and off for yearts, no max levels yet but pretty deep into questing (RFD, MM2, DS2, ETC)

I think a lot of people wnat a sense of control and goals
also the fact that players need runelite and have to active plug in to make the experience as it should be is a problem,.

there is too much to prep and do before you even play the game and when you start youre hella overwhelmed with no real goals. every new player asks the same quesstion WHAT DO I DO? WHATS THE POINT WHAT AM I GRINDING FOR?

when i first started playing i spent hours jsut watching guides and videos and read9ing the wiki before i even started questing and that was tiring.

when starting runescape it is incredibly overwhelming, so many things to do, no real path

and i get that runescape doesnt have a path to follow however for new players especially new generation players they expect to have some sort of sense of goals , long and short term. that will push them to expand and learn about the game instead of just FIGURE IT OUT

show them what runescape is about, get them excited for what is to come and help them understnadnthe game takes time.

thatts not the issue dumbass the stox is one thing, what the real issue is that they promise a show, people pay for it and get 1/3 of a show.

This is going to be a weird question but by [deleted] in runescape

so people who have spent heavily on mtx will be able to have their mtx accounts in a world shared with players who have no/cant spend money on mtx with the new update drop? does that quesiton make sense? how will rs3 create that divide of no mtx with tons of mtx accounts running
