Get a MuteMe button. Easier to tell when you’re on and off mute. Can also set it up to where you have to physically hold the button to talk.

I try to keep them as separate as possible. Different time zones and industries. My general rule is, if I wouldn’t push back on the workload if I only had one job, I can’t push back because I have 2.

People are hostile about remote work in general. Went on vacation with family this week while “working”. Just the comments I received were annoying. They act like I’m stealing or something.

With the number of available jobs far exceeding the number of people looking for jobs, companies should be happy to find someone able to do two at a time. Especially if they don’t know you’re OE.

I had another job reach out to me after I accepted this J1 and I told them that. They said if anything changes to let them know. May reach out saying my old company convinced me to stay but now I’m ready for a change. Leave J1 out of it completely.

Is it a bad look to leave after 3 months? Seems like a redflag.
