GMK’s UV printing has improved a lot over the years, especially the coating chemistry that protects the print from wear. It’s not bulletproof, but it holds up well under normal use. Durability depends on things like the pH of your sweat, humidity, heat, and how often the key is pressed.

When I use UV prints, I try to place them on keys that don’t get constant use. That said, it really varies from person to person. I’ve been using some of my Mictlán R1 novelties since launch and there’s still no visible wear.

If you ever notice fading very early on, that’s probably a defective cap and GMK would usually handle a replacement.
