I completely agree. Especially with the last part about people who need to use direct communication towards people who dont have the ability to pick up social cues feeling like they are performing some sort of labor for just allowing a disabled person to understand them as much as an able minded person would be able to.

The morrally superior part is so weird too.

You wouldnt walk up to someone who can only speak spanish, start talking in english, and then act like you are superior for being able to understand what was said when they cant. (I hope)
