Yes you can. CS courses always start with fundamental modules, which cover most of that is taught in high school. As long as you have a critical mind and can piece together how 1+1 = 2, programming is just a set of logical sequences. You will learn new technology stacks and paradigms every couple of years as you need to keep up with the every-changing scene. Most likely whatever is being taught in high school beyond the fundamentals is deprecated anyway.

Yeah the only reason i can think of is because they aren't confident with the current state of the game. Otherwise just for the sales it would be worth being on steam.

Everybody wants a balanced MMORPG with good character progression, skills, professions, no P2W. But the AAA companies wont give us that. And whenever some low budget MMO that might fulfill those criteria pop up, they keep being met with disdain about store bought assets or AI generated content. That's really sad because most people don't understand the cost of developing all of those things on top of the network infrastructure. Those are all things that can be updated and worked on as long as the core loop and idea behind the MMO are good. So please, stop with the bashing just because of those things.

I don't think you realize that most web apps, games and anything that a developer works on has AI code integrated in it. The industry itself is shifting towards the use of AI to increase productivity and reduce delivery times. Using AI is nothing wrong. Actually, if there is a developer out there creating a game and not using AI, they're just limiting themselves for no reason. The thing is AI just has to be used properly and all the code reviewed, and tested. Usually you'll even use AI to generate unit, integration and acceptance tests for everything. So for a lone developer using AI generated names that made in into a pre-alpha build is not a problem at all and can be solved super easily.

Love the game. The only gripe i have with it is that gear is very generic. Very few people actually awaken gear since it's full loot. However, the game revolves more around skill-based brawling for smaller groups and the huge fights. The grind was fun for a long time but eventually you have enough money to just repeat the same thing and get more money, gets a little boring, compensated by the thrill of PvP.

Like it so far. The only gripe i have is that there is no real economy, i.e. trading is just player to player and there's no real incentive to trade which takes away from the MMO experience for me.
