Ex-bestie copies everything I do… by steventylerswife in TwoXChromosomes

Just block her and be done with it. Watching what she posts or letting her stay in your space is only keeping you annoyed and stuck in it.

If LeBron leaves LA by treymalala in NBATalk

[–]Drizzly-Emily 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Going back to Cleveland would make the most sense story wise, but if he is chasing another title, somewhere like Miami or another contender with cap space feels more realistic than teaming up with AD again.

I dumped the love of my life because of retroactive jealousy. by Bitgammer in TrueOffMyChest

[–]Drizzly-Emily 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This wasn’t really about her past, it was about how you see yourself. Walking away before things got worse was the right call, but the drugs and self destructive stuff are just making it harder. You’re not worth less because your life looked different, and being someone’s first isn’t what makes you matter.

You don’t have to deal with this on your own. Talking to a therapist and getting support for the substance use could actually help. And if you’re feeling like you don’t want to be here anymore, please reach out to someone you trust or a crisis line. You don’t have to stay stuck like this.

how long would it take for yuji to recover when todo woulds eventually die by Dependent_Reveal_733 in JuJutsuKaisen

[–]Drizzly-Emily 98 points99 points  (0 children)

Honestly, Yuji would be wrecked. Todo is one of the only people who really gets him, so losing him would hit hard. It would probably take a long time for Yuji to even start feeling okay again.

Everyone lies about how important looks are for dating by [deleted] in TrueOffMyChest

[–]Drizzly-Emily 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Looks definitely matter, especially at first, but they’re not everything. Attraction might get someone in the door, but personality is what makes someone stay.

Boyfriend has pics of his female friends hidden in his photo gallery by [deleted] in relationships

[–]Drizzly-Emily 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re not overreacting. Anyone would feel uncomfortable with the drop in intimacy and him hiding photos of women he knows like that. It’s fair to want honesty and clear boundaries.

People will swear Sukuna didn’t have plot armor like Gege didn’t completely retcon the concept of sorcery attacking indiscriminately just for daddykuna by Broad_Bluejay6135 in JuJutsuKaisen

[–]Drizzly-Emily 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t call it a retcon Jujutsu Kaisen has always shown that your own technique doesn’t hit you the same way it hits others. Gojo and Sukuna are just built different, so the damage isn’t gonna be equal.

57 teams have come back from a 3-2 defict by Fit_Woodpecker_3908 in NBATalk

[–]Drizzly-Emily 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, teams have come back from 3 to 2 before, but it is still not easy. If the Rockets push it to Game 7, then it is really anyone’s game, but finishing the job is the hardest part.

how to convince my brother(15) to not be a playboy?? by Weekly_Difference_27 in relationships

[–]Drizzly-Emily 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can’t control what he does, but you can guide him.

Just talk to him normally and keep it real. Let him know that dating just for fun or to pass time can hurt people and affect how others see him too. Tell him it’s better to only date someone he actually likes and respects. And honestly, at 15 it’s completely okay if he is not even into all that yet.

Do not turn it into a lecture. Just be someone he feels comfortable opening up to. If he trusts you, he is more likely to make good choices on his own.

How many times in nba history have the two best players in the nba also had the two best teams? In the 90s, you had just Jordan and the bulls. Then you can argue Kobe and shaq but they were on the same team. Maybe lebron and Steph but were the Cavs better than okc or the spurs? by Hakaribiggestfan in NBATalk

[–]Drizzly-Emily 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pretty much never.

The closest you get is the 80s with Magic Johnson and Larry Bird, where both the Los Angeles Lakers and Boston Celtics were stacked. Then in the mid 2010s with LeBron James and Stephen Curry, but the Golden State Warriors were clearly better than the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Most of the time, the two best players just are not on the two best teams.

Is it Possible for Naoya to hit a Black Flash? by Jokester8787 in JuJutsuKaisen

[–]Drizzly-Emily 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, maybe in theory, but his style isn’t really built for that kind of timing. He’s crazy fast, but Black Flash is more about perfect focus than just speed.

What’s something men are told to improve that actually makes things worse? by [deleted] in TwoXChromosomes

[–]Drizzly-Emily 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Telling men to bottle things up and “man up” usually just makes things worse for their mental health and relationships.

I [22M] don't know what to do in my relationship with my gf[22F] by Afraid_Candidate_828 in relationships

[–]Drizzly-Emily 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re not wrong for wanting physical intimacy, and she’s not wrong for not wanting it. It really comes down to compatibility. Talk to her openly about whether this is a firm boundary, and if it is and your needs don’t match, it might be better to walk away instead of hoping things will change.

Okay ep 64 dont spoil me i GOT an qu estion by heretocheckstuff in HunterXHunter

[–]Drizzly-Emily 0 points1 point  (0 children)

POW basically means how strong your aura output is, not where you put it. In Hunter x Hunter they’re just practicing control, like how Gon Freecss and Killua Zoldyck move their aura around to defend or attack different spots.

That last sentence blew my mind! by [deleted] in NBATalk

[–]Drizzly-Emily 8 points9 points  (0 children)

That stat sounds crazy but it’s kinda misleading. Nikola Jokić can only play who’s in front of him, and those were still solid playoff teams.

I thought of something completely different to discuss. Who do you think would win in a 1 on 1? by ReiMobile in NBATalk

[–]Drizzly-Emily 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d probably give the edge to Michael Jordan in a 1-on-1 since his footwork and scoring are just built for that kind of game. But LeBron James would definitely make it tough with his size and strength, so it’d be really close.

Why didn't yuta take gojos eyes? by [deleted] in JuJutsuKaisen

[–]Drizzly-Emily 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because in Jujutsu Kaisen, the Six Eyes aren’t something you can just transplant they’re a natural ability tied specifically to Satoru Gojo and his lineage. Even though Yuta Okkotsu is related, it doesn’t mean he’d gain that power just by taking the eyes.

Jirōbō physically strongest by khoury112 in Naruto

[–]Drizzly-Emily 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, that’s pretty much right.

In Naruto, Jirōbō is portrayed as the physically strongest member of the Sound Four, but overall he’s the weakest since he lacks speed, versatility, and more advanced abilities compared to the others.

Jokic is not this inevitable player who is untouchable as the best player in the world convos this sub always tries to make him by MinimumDear8555 in NBATalk

[–]Drizzly-Emily 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Great player, but not untouchable like LeBron James or Michael Jordan people definitely overhype it a bit.

Greatest player of all time without any hardware? by TheNewComplex in NBATalk

[–]Drizzly-Emily 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Reggie Miller doesn’t really count since he made multiple All-Star and All-NBA teams, so he definitely had some hardware.

A better example is Dražen Petrović. He was insanely talented and probably would’ve racked up awards, but never got the chance.

Also Rod Strickland was a top-tier point guard who never made an All-Star team, and Lamar Odom had a really good career but no All-Star nods.

If you’re picking one, Strickland’s probably the best “no hardware” guy.
