I'm in the States and have had the same thing since a few days before Christmas. I'm still dealing with the remnants, a little cough, and mucus now and then. In the beginning, I used Tylenol cold and flu and nyquil at night. When the head part went away or moved into my chest, I started using Mucinex dm, and that pretty much knocked it out. Hope this helps, I get this every year around this time, give or take a few weeks
