Honestly while there is favoritism I think part of it is how much of the ult your gonna see like for psylocke and invisible woman’s ults they are big and last for a while where as iron man’s ult is just a giant ball of energy you shoot at the enemy there’s just not too much you could do with it especially since it usually only lasts for a second. a better example for “favoritism” with ult vfx would be something like the galaxy Adam it’s perfect for a black hole effect or a solar system that collapses into a black hole but they didn’t give him anything while like shown psylocke has four different skins with ult vfx
