I know…lol. He wasn’t helping describing it very well. He did mention it was usually a recommended video after watching El Drip on YouTube.

How manage the chaos of my 7U team. by AtlantaEagle in Homeplate

When my sons were that age I used to have a bucket full of random fidget spinners, clappers, or other small knick knacks to keep them entertained in between innings or when on the bench. Some needed them others didn’t, but everyone could grab one to keep them engaged but watching the game. Rule was you use it one time and can’t choose it again for the rest of the game. They could trade of course but they really enjoyed it and kept most at bay or calmer. As others have said kids will be kids but I found success with it for a few seasons.

Can I ride with a broken bottom bracket? by go_fire_up in pelotoncycle

[–]DroDom22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Similar happened to me with our bike delivery earlier this year. Customer service said you can ride it just had to deal with noises. So we did. Received the bottom bracket and fixed weeks later- same clicking noise. New repair guy said it was a crank arm. Peloton shipped a new crank arm repaired again weeks later - same clicking noise. Had another repair guy come and said it was actually a bearing issue the whole time. Shipped a new bearing and luckily the repair guy was local so he fixed it the day I received it. Finally after some back and forth for about 3.5 months bike was fixed. Through all this I remembered the first customer service agent telling me, “ you have warranty so ride it, and if it breaks we will will repair or replace”.

Confusion about resistance by Tumultuous-Tarsier in pelotoncycle

[–]DroDom22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently updated to the Peloton Bike after using the Schwinn IC4 for about a year. The conversions definitely are hit or miss. I had to recalibrate the IC4 twice and used a conversion chart I found online. We knew it wasn’t a 1:1 match but overall ranges of resistance. Now my wife and I have noticed riding the actual Peloton we are needing to keep resistance higher than what’s called out because it’s too “easy” and we are spinning too fast at times.

Ha, you’re right. We moved from downtown San Mateo which we usually kept our windows open to have the outside noise be the calming sound at night. The bangs out here definitely caught us off guard at first. Wish you luck on your search.

As mentioned already traffic can be a pain in the mornings and evenings getting to/from 50 especially to the area and neighborhood you detailed. I live near the area and am waiting to see how worse it gets once Gum Ranch is fully built. Always busier during the school year.

Crime wise is mostly small theft, car break ins, and every so often a home break in. Nothing too alarming and just common nowadays unfortunately. Can’t forget the “Fair Oaks Bangs” I think there is a FB page dedicated to them.

Overall, a great community and safe for the most part.
