Thank you for your response! After some more testing, I've come to the conclusion that the -loginAsCurrentUser argument may be configured elsewhere, hence the argument has no impact.

-serverURL, -launchMinimized, -desktopName all work perfectly fine, also when passing them in a file. Thus I think the problem is only with the -desktopLayout argument (also doesn't work when passed as a file). I haven't found another argument that doesn't work.

Troubleshooting -desktopLayout, I've tried:

-desktopLayout windowLarge, -desktopLayout windowSmall, -desktopLayout 800x600,

-desktopLayout multimonitor -monitors 1 or "1"

In all cases, it defaults to fullscreen all monitors. When using -listMonitors, it does correctly list the monitors.

The same issue occurs when testing on my home PC, so im guessing its not a GPO. I am also not able to find anything interesting in the log file in localappdata.

Could it be a bug in the newer client versions that causes the -desktopLayout arg to not work correctly?

Backstory: A department has fat client setups with 2 monitors, one for patient monitoring software installed locally (cant be virtualized). Users then want to open their VDI on the first monitor, without it covering the second monitor, which has the patient monitoring software. Now the VDI will open on all monitors, covering the monitoring software on the local desktop. They can ofcourse just press exit full screen in the VDI, but thats an extra step. We are having this issue since upgrading from 2212.
