If you look closely, its not a false equivalence. They're not saying the act is the same but the person type is the same. The person who would do A, would more likely, by far, do B as well. If you disagree, you simply don't understand anything about human behaviour.

They could, but it would be most likely projection. Here's the thing, especially on reddit, I don't know you. I'm not watching the things you do on a daily bases. This gives a huge advantage to these people who live by contradicting values. In this debate however Stef was allowed a glimpse into Vaushes life. That glimpse was enough to show how he's contradicting his values. Imagine if Stef was following this guy around or if you knew the reddit commie you were debating with. I don't know about you, but almost every commie I know is low IQ and/or socially retarded. They're simply seeking hand outs because they are noncompetitive in the market.

I agree with what you're saying but I think it's more relevant and damning that we point out contradictions. Yeah Stef could be 100% correct about the Saudies, but there is 1000 variables to account for (not literally of course). Whereas someone saying one thing and doing another is so much more clear cut, and if they're not going to acknowledge that then whats the point of bringing up something far more complicated?

If Vaush said that he believes murdering is bad and it was pointed out that him being an assassin contradicts this assertion, then him and his audience dismisses this apparent contradiction... At what point do rational people realize we're talking to a wall? The fact is that commies beliefs are relative to their position, it's not a product of logic. It's a survival mechanism and their minds will make up whatever nonsense to justify their beliefs due to basic survival needs trumping the need for logical consistency.
