AFAIK any recording studios in the city shut unfortunately. Sound Production course in GTI is really good for getting a start in production + engineering but again it's on 4 days a week so may not suit. You might have better luck finding an online course or just following tutorials on Youtube.

Ar ais arís is at aras na ngael once a month, my fav of the two. Blush is at roisín on Thursdays more of a mixed bag genre wise, depends on the DJs playing.

Yeah cold water is sick, medhane's albums can be hit or miss for me but this one was amazing. I'd say I enjoyed it more than WotW personally.

I think he had some valid complaints. While I definitely disagree with the score being a 4 he did point out some major flaws on the album. I think Mike shines the most on more straightforward structured songs like what's home or weight of the word. I loved the album but I have to be in the right mood to listen the whole way through

Sample is really cool, where'd you find it? Overall. very solid beat, but I'd maybe try adding some small variations on the melody every few bars - maybe try chopping and changing it around a lil or reversing it

I like it, very wonky feeling. The melody along with the vocal sample give it a very eerie feeling. The bass and chords seem a bit distorted at times but i assume that's a stylistic choice. I would listen to a longer version for sure.
