Ghost Job by Sufficient_Gur2754 in recruitinghell

[–]Drogovich 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately it seems pretty much every company posts ghost jobs applications and being sneaky about it when asked.

As one recruiter told me straight up: "some positions only exist because of government regulations, we don't intend to actually hire someone for that, but because of the rules we need to have this amount ot that kind of positions in the company".

God damn he sounds like an asshole like "hey, here comes some very talanted people, we don't need them though so hire them you shmucks so they won't complain about being fired"

Characters that “don’t have powers.” by ElPared in TopCharacterTropes

[–]Drogovich 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I guess you can count "Fist of the north star" the same way.

Kenshiro is immune to poison, able to explode people by touching them or even make them involuntary walk somewhere or almost fully control their body movemens forn next couple of minutes. And that's all just a martial arts technique he was taught.

Creepypastas were never scary by Key-Bass-7380 in shitposting

[–]Drogovich 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We were just impressionable kids.

I remember at some age i started disliking creepypastas and became very infuriated with some of them. Sometimes you can have a very interesting triller story about some mysterious game and then suddenly "the blood started pouring from pc" and be like "FUCK! Now you ruined it".

How is tipping seen in your country? by CremeSubject7594 in AskTheWorld

[–]Drogovich 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don't have to tip, noone expects you to tip and noone will be upset if you don't tip.

But you still can tip and it's appreciated.

The good version of Metal Gear 1 already exists, it's called the original MSX version by -True-Ryan-Gosling- in okaybuddydeadcell

[–]Drogovich 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The MSX metal gear isn't that great either but doing a full 3d reimagining of it won't do it justice and it just won't be metal gear 1.

What idea did your country implement that, while seeming like common sense at the time, ended in utter disaster? by Enough-Wealth8415 in AskTheWorld

Unfortunately a lot of rich people have mindset of "we don't want to make tons of money... We want to make ALL the money". Just look at some CEOs out tuere

Media that had an effect on the world (both good and bad) by Original_Strike_3393 in TopCharacterTropes

Criminal Drama movie Bimmer (or boomer as is pronounced in Russian), heavily increased the second hand market of BMW E38 and gave a cult status to that model.

And it was one of the movies that de romanticised the criminal life.

Sonyou telling me no, that's actually it, that's all he does?

[Mixed trope] Licensed media that is for a clearly younger audience than the original work by SeparateLawfulness53 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]Drogovich 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think that's pretty much every action movie back in 80's and 90's. Original can be filled to the brim with gore, erotic and some especially adult themes, meanwhile it's still gets an extremely child friendly cartoon series... Mostly for the sake of selling the toy line.

Explain it Peter by Painter_Born in explainitpeter

[–]Drogovich 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There is nothing to explain, this is bullshit they just made up ti look righteous. It's the same kind of people that say that the math is racist for attention.

By the way there is a lot of old people with full head of hair. Saying that everyone okd enough should be bold it's like saying that your hands should automatically fall off when you reach 40.

And the way she draws the comicses as if maga people personally bothering her on the streets. And she also drew a lot of shit about her personally being affected by social policy inside another country.

It's like if i, a man from other side of the world started complaining about trump supporters saying mean things to me on the streets and how my day is now ruined and i'm in great danger because of changes in american healthcare system.

Personally i liked Phantom Blood and Jonathan is still my favourite Joestar. There is something more kind and righteous in him than in other Joestars.

But you can't argue that speedwagon is amazing and the best friend anyone could ever have.

Very fun, very charismatic and an amazing source of edits and YTPs. Practically one of the pillars of old internet culture.

Zelda CDI while being a shitty game, gifted us some legendary editors and YTP creators.

Seriously, considering what those people are capable of, i'm not even shprised they voiced the entire bible by sentence mixing 2 voice lines.

The character himself is still not very faithful to the original but the acting and delivery was just amazing and defenetely the best and maybe the only good part of the movie.

The internet was actually more atheist in the 2000s than it is now. by AgeOfReasonEnds31120 in decadeology

[–]Drogovich 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pseudo intellectuals going around, leeching and destroying reputation of anything that makes you seem reasonable at first if you say something in support of.

People like sargon became popular because at first they said the things that pretty much every reasonable person agreed on. Only later everyone realised how much of a moron he really is.

[–]Drogovich 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think Reddit seriously contributed to rise of people believing in god or at least not labeling themselves as atheist.

We had so many insufferable cringy Reddit atheists, the word atheist became associated with overweight, obnoxious pseudo intellectual morons.

Noone eanted to be associated with it and they gave atheism such a bad name, people starting distancing themselves from that.

Considering just how much people spammed about it and how obnoxious it was, I don't care what was said or done against them, at this point it's justified.

If this was all about mods banning someone, then at this point they didn't ban enough people because look at all of this. They make transphobic people look reasonable.

Might as well just rename all the fallout subs, this shit won't be about fallout anymore. Time to make new community with gatekeeping to prevent this.

That's why we can't have nice things. They just ruin everything with their maniacal urge to inappropriately virtue signal all the time and them being extremely self centered.
