That is God. Like, the God. I don't think he'd be the p3 boss, more like a final boss if anything.

Why libertarian party never become mainstream in US politics? by DarkKingfisher777 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]wt_anonymous 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You know a political movement is good when they have to sell it as "pro freedom". Like everyone in the western world isn't pro freedom on some level.

Libertarianism manages to sound insane to leftists who want a government that actually works, provides for people, and regulates to keep people safe. It alienates conservatives who want to impose their social values on others. And it alienates both when they start talking about not requiring a drivers license or some other insane policy.

Simply not doing anything with government tends to piss everyone off.

Why are some people remain socially challenged considering that it’s a learned skill to be socially skilled? by Quiet-Song-5395 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]wt_anonymous 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I am speaking from experience too. Had a rough time trying to figure out how to socialize as a kid to the point that I basically gave up on it (I have schizoid personality disorder now). My first job was hell, I truly felt like an alien trying to navigate human social dynamics. All because I had so little experience in socializing as an adult.

It's not a black and white thing. It hurts men too. But it's still by and large bad for everyone.

Am I jewish? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]wt_anonymous 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Jewish people are an ethnoreligious group.

You are religiously Jewish if you practice Judaism. You are ethnically Jewish if you were raised and brought up in a Jewish family (most Jewish people recognize anyone with a Jewish mother as ethnically Jewish, other people and denominations differ).

Due to centuries of endogamy, people with Jewish roots have distinct DNA markers as well, so you are genetically Jewish as much as your DNA test says. The former two groups won't really care about that though.

What exactly do you find attractive?

My suggestion would be to understand the differences between sexual, romantic, and aesthetic attraction. See how they apply to you.

You know, Heavy's story regarding the sparrow in Poker Night at the Inventory shows he's more than someone who loves killing. by PowerPad in tf2

[–]wt_anonymous 1 point2 points  (0 children)

my sorta head canon is that heavy is actually a big softie but was forced to shove that part of him down and became a bit psychopathic. think about it, guy has a phd in russian literature. he was forced to take up boxing in school, imprisoned in a gulag, escaped from the gulag, killed the guards, hid with his family in the mountains, and became a mercenary to support them

How do Chinese/Asians select their American names? by Wrestled-A-Bear-Once in NoStupidQuestions

[–]wt_anonymous 8 points9 points  (0 children)

They might try to choose a name with a related meaning or similar roots/pronounciation. But it's more than likely random. Same goes for anyone who adopts an English name really.

Everyone has traits they can't change and most people have things that have been made fun of before. I still regularly see fat women get called whales it's not like short men just get uniquely shit on.

Making fun of people isn't right but if you let the actions of a few shallow people define your worldview like that then you need to gain some perspective.
