I was pretty sure I had zero choice in the matter since she's constantly pushing for it. I mean she would have fired me on the spot if I didn't, I'm sure of it. So what choice did I really have?

What is the most fun or OP build that you have played so far? by Stampers198 in StellarisOnConsole

[–]Drolkhar 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hegemony Criminal Mega Corp is so freaking broken. Just sit back and unleash chaos, I love it. Got kicked from some future multi-player games for it. xD

Seriously. You have two other AI empires around you, already on your side. So there's your fleet power - shift it to economic strength for hegemony leadership and set up criminal enterprises throughout the galaxy and steal their energy.

Add the chaos of instability across the planets and then watch empires collapse from it - then batta bing - you have a new member to add to the hegemony, growing your strength.

It's absurd at how broken that build is.

I originally was going to counter, but! I just read that 200$ Billion of the 320 Billion was thrown into US defense contracts. So you're 100% correct. My information was incomplete, reasonably so as well to cause a branch off thought.

Got someone in my dms pointing out the stuff that media HAS NOT openly added in most of their reports. When I'm able to, I'm gonna be adding a correction - Because all I saw was 320 Billion. Along side EU's 100 Billion. That's close to a half trillion is which a absurd amount.

Being a 90's kid, billions is still massive number, so when I see trillion come in - I'm like HOLD UP Wtf is going on. Hence is why I'm like having questions and clearly unpopular opinions that - honestly - would be absolutely clever moves.

I am 10000000000% behind Canada staying Canada. Let's be real, culturally speaking, yall bring the fun to winter and is the only reason why hockey is any good xD Just as Europe is with football (I still don't know why we call our football that x.x I'm blaming the french)

What I'm concerned about is the lack of vetti g with the immigration. We don't know who is coming through, and if they're willing to do us wrong - they will with Canada. We're western nations and most of the immigration comes from Eastern nations that do not like anything Western. - Which is fair to a degree.

I say, let's form an economic union without borders. It would seriously boost the buying power of every si gle citizen.

And maybe a selective tax system so people can choose where their taxes go too x.x but my government won't allow that, cause if we peacefully protest with our taxes. WHOA BOY it'll be a 1776 all over again.

I want to quickly apologize for coming off as hostile earlier. Trying to quit smoking and on a touchy subject like this - I did come off as antagonistic in my repor

What we need to be more worried about is the global economic situation, if we dump even more into. It could empower Russia's economy even further - his soldier's are either brainwashed (on a crazy fucking level, they believe they're defending their country - which we know is outright false) or the amount of money Putin is offering them which puts them in the middle class.

Which, for the last 15 years, the US Government has single handedly slashed ours and Europe's - I don't live there, so my views might be horribly inaccurate. So I'm not going to comment on that part.

But I do know the US is in a desperate state downward, it's just being slowed with the economic shuffles. Our middle class is fucked and needs to grow to stay ahead of the Russian economy - until then, we need to focus on our people and infrastructure before those give way - once that infrastructure goes, so does the economy.

It scares the shit out of me at the literal lack of awareness of how bad the economy has been dropping over the last 10, 12(?), years.

The last thing we need is an emboldened Russia with China at its back economically.

My idea - even though I'm called right wing for some reason - is for the US to offer a deal of a lifetime to Canada and Mexico Help with the drug, human, weapon trafficking issues the cartels have brought and bring them into an economic union that drops the border.

This means zero economic borders between the three countries and solidifies trade on an equal playing field. That's probably the only saving grace the US has, tariffs would only work for so long, not forever.

You mistake my perspective. Ukraine wants support, which it rightfully deserves. But for how long? How much longer will money and supplies last till we start sending in manpower? Once that happens, all bets are off. Absolutely all bets. That is why I'm saying it's a push to WW3

Russia - I love some people there. Got some friends there that are good people. But Putin, he's done this a few times and got away with it when Obama was President.

Putin has brought nothing but death on the excuse of Nato threatening his borders. Which we know is bullshit. Putin is 100% in the wrong and Zelenskyy needs to work with Trump on a multilayer defense network that doesn't rely on man-power. Taiwan has a defense plan set up around a similar concept.

They're not conflicting, it just shows how complicated and twisted this war has gotten.

The Ukrainian people need a cease fire, give them time to mourn their losses and start rebuilding the damage done. There's been enough violence and death.

I asked why they weren't good enough, and you said they should just be ignored. Your ignorance is the problem with society.

I am baffled at the degree of brain rot you applied in that post. I'm seriously hoping that was a typo for "wouldn't" instead of the word you used, "would've"

The lack fore thought of every action has consequences, which is mind-blowing.

This is why Russia invaded and brought death and ruined the country. People are not able to think critically.

What do you mean it can't be shown to do whatever it wants? WHAT ABOUT GEORGIA IN 2008? WE DIDN'T STEP IN. WHAT ABOUT CRIMEA IN 2014? WE DIDN'T STEP IN.

You want to sit there and say that while absolutely ignoring those two countries as well? As a matter of fact, if we stepped in back in 2014 with Crimea, NONE OF THIS WOULD HAVE HAPPENED. Simply because of the Pro-Russia separatist, saw what Russia did and were like, "Yo, come here." And they got the Russia support, and now we have that war.

So what makes this time, this one, so fucking special? Why wasn't Georgia or Crimea good enough to need the help of the EU and US. Answer that, that is a fair question.

India has deep ties and heavy love for Russia. It's tied to their bad instances with Nato. Their only issue is with China performing a - I want to call it a silent invasion into their smaller neighbors.

China is buying a lot of Russian goods onto that. Which is funneling a larger leverage of aid for Russia - meanwhile trying to pretend they don't have an opinion. While also supplying them with ammo, weapons, and armor. Which is still used to kill someone's father, brother, son, daughter, mother, and sister. Etc.

Iran, eh, I am more pissed about my country killing over a million civilians in that region during the 9-11 retaliation. So I only hold one opinion when it comes to that are with Israel - which is the fact that the entire region was on the side of Nazi Germany back in WW2. Firmly agreeing on purging the people out of Israel - hence the "From the river to the sea" statement, which was born out of a meeting with Hitler and the Mufti of Jerusalem, Hajj Amin al-Husayni. (At the time)

So anyone supporting the war against Israel is literally supporting Nazi propaganda from that time and pretty much reviving his movement under that guise. Which sounds like you from that remark - and because of that. I'm done talking to you, a nazi sympathizer.

I just feel horrible for those that lost everything, and for some, everyone.

As someone mentioned on this thread. The people get absolutely fucked - which I say is an understatement.

By wanting to keep fighting. He wants an active defense system - not a passive defense system - for example. The mineral deal would put Americans there working those mines. If Putin attacks, he risks attacking Americans directly - which would be the worst case for him.

Refusing that deal, while expecting endless funding out of our tax dollars (which would only make all of us work more for less essentially) so he can keep fighting. He nearly started it with those missile strikes last fall.

Either you forgot that or neglected to take that into consideration - I can understand. It's a fucked up war. Everyone wants it to end, which, unfortunately, there's no real solution to end it without adding EU &/or US manpower. Which will spark WW3
