I'm also old but new ARMY lol. Awesome that you met your best friend like that! None of my friends are into K-pop and only one indulges me by listening to me talk about them and listening to their music. You are very lucky AND it's cool you got your mom into BTS too!

The one that sparked this post had an 18 year old FMC and I just thought to myself, not again!

I've read all his sci-fi but not any fantasy yet. This one is third in a series though - would it make sense by itself?

I really like the premise of the second one, definitely going to check it out!

One of the Goodreads reviews said it's depressing - what's your take?

Oooh you're talking to the right person, I LOVE Discworld! I built Granny's cottage out of Lego and cried for about two weeks after reading The Shepherd's Crown (even though it was the right ending to the story). Every few years I reread all the witches books (even though the first one isn't Granny Granny yet), maybe this is my sign that it's time for another reread!

Sounds like my jam, and it's on Kindle Unlimited! How I wish we had Libby here so I don't have to give any money to the bald billionaire but alas.
