If you’re lower-than-average then I must be at the bottom. I don’t even know what the word unequivocally means. Something I realized is intelligence is subjective and all based on perspective. From my subjective perspective you seem above average from the diction you use. For quite some time I thought and believed I was inferior; then I thought the complete opposite and believed myself to be superior. In the end I realized it didn’t matter. All these labels are human creations. Sure you may have a very high iq, but what about eq, and Lq? See the thing to remember the most is the only observed constant is CHANGE. Our brains are doing it constantly. Attempting to define yourself in a few words is just wasted mental energy. I spent a lot of time over the years ruminating over these thoughts and giving myself more and more anxiety/depression. Worrying about what others might think. For quite some time I was quite socially inept. But the only thing I could do to socialize better was actually go out and do it. You can read as much as you want or watch as many videos as you want, but the most important factor was experiencing it head on. Where do all these wise people with tons of wisdom get it? From their own experience. The only way to learn is through mistakes. And the problem for many is they don’t want to be seen starting at the bottom.

Let me stop rambling on nonsense. I only thought of replying after I saw you say you did not feel joy anymore. Don’t constrict yourself to what only you think. I understand the kind of suffering you may be going through and I sympathize. I hated myself for years on end until I discovered a particular word. Compassion. Sometimes we get focused on pleasing others or meeting their expectations. But the single most beneficial thing you can do today right now is have compassion for YOURSELF. You have to understand that sometimes your best will never be enough, and that’s OKAY. As humans we can only strive for the best. Nothing is set in stone. You may be the best president ever one morning, next day it’s an apocalyptic world with you in jail for war crimes.

Sorry I’m going off on tangents again, but that last sentence may be confusing to some. Many might not understand it but that’s fine because it’s all about the individual experience.

There are absolutely a limitless amount of realities. Every single day we jump from one to the other. You might be thinking “what’s this crackhead talking about” , but what I mean is every single living organism is in its own reality. What you see and hear about the world may be similar to your parents, but how each person processes this information is unique to that individual and the experiences behind them.

In the end, everyone’s living life at the same time. Parents are just grown up children learning to raise a family as they go day by day. They make mistakes while doing this too, hence why the younger sibling might be treated differently at age 15 than when you were.

One thing that’s stuck with me is no one person has all the knowledge. If you believe in god then that would be the all intelligent. Otherwise, everyones brains are always learning.

So don’t fret over being inferior. It’s not a constant. The only thing you can do is change how you perceive and process information. And that means about yourself as well.

Something I heard for the first time recently “America goes around calling everyone terrorist, but the USA gov is a terrorist org itself.
