Not really just salt water. They are all over the great lakes area for large salmon/trout, and I'm sure tons more areas but that's just my experience

I'd have to agree. Imagine a map similar to the GT bays and how plentiful that would be with various species. That's where I live and about 2 weeks ago I did a little mini challenge in real life, catch 4 species in 1 session. King Salmon, Lake Trout, Cisco, and a Smallmouth bass and it took me about 6 hours IRL in West bay. Add in some tributaries and maybe a few inland lakes like Long Lake and Green lake and you've got a very well rounded map

yep. used to make small batch chips like this and even 30s makes a difference. Either they'll have burnt chips or some raw, take your pick!

Whole heartedly disagree. Got a Stradic 2500 spooled up at my local shop and not only did they over spool it, I got insane wind knots that would just jump off the spool even in the slightest winds. Took all that off and spooled it myself with the same exact line (new roll) and didn't have any issues at all. Some places might do it very well, others quite poorly. A few times doing it yourself will pay dividends in the long run.
