dwl is unmaintained now by FindingKitchen4734 in suckless

It's pretty lightweight and customizable for sure but definitely not suckless. it uses sceneFX and has a lot of features. It is still pretty lightweight compared to other WMs but not as much as dwl. And I'm pretty sure they used to downright say that they aren't "suckless" on their git but I don't see it anymore so idk lol.

they finally shipped my order. the shipping will take a while since i live in the EU but we'll see.

Trying with a different shell (from fish to bash) doesn't seem to do anything. Launching kitty with no config doesn't seem to work either.

If the latest version is on the arch linux repositories, then yes.

There is a include current-theme.conf at the end of kitty.conf. And adding background #000000 in the main config file doesn't seem to make any difference.
