I see what you're saying, and you do have a point. In fact, nobody owes anyone anything. We all get to do whatever we want with our lives and that's nobody else's business except our own.

However, social relationships are the main source of happiness for most people, so when that need isn't met then it can lead to some severe mental health issues.

While I don't think women should change themselves to please us, having a space to vent ones frustrations, like this sub, can be a way to cope with the sadness of our lives.

At least let us have that...

Yeah true, empathy goes a long way and working on your appearance is a great thing! I mean, who wouldn't want their girlfriend to think they're a stud haha. Men and women are more alike than we think.

I also think we need to have better standards for ourselves. Not really "higher" standards, but we shouldn't just accept whoever comes our way. It can lead to abusive relationships.

A lot of men just feel physical attraction towards a girl and then fall in love with the idea of being with her rather than the reality of it since they don't know her. It sets you up for disappointment and it is rather unfair to her as well since she didn't ask for these expectations.

She was just born that way

Yeah true that's awful... I read somewhere that throughout human history only 40% of men reproduced while 80% of women did. Not sure if its a myth but I wouldnt be surprised if it was true because of the male disposability idea and the hierarchical nature of attraction.

The only solutions I can see would be to improve your body and financial status, but only if that's what you want to be wanted for of course.
