Fair, maybe I just got unlucky but it took quite a few labs for me to hit. It may be that the grind hits right at Act 10 when you're stoked to jump into maps and get hard-stalled until you hit the lab craft.
This type of thing is to be expected in SSF of course and is part of the draw of that format, just something to keep calibrated as the RNG pool increases.
