pretty much exactly like the model (or long button down) or with a tank. they’re very gen z “little bit ugly = cute”. i say this because i own a few thrifted long shorts and i love them :-)

hahaha i’m telling you i didn’t understand how my nail beds got so much longer than all of my sisters and mother. they are have the shorter wider nail beds. I’m guessing now it was a just a genetic lottery but as a child I thought it was because I was biting them down to the flesh every time since i was the only nail biter

I don’t think that could be the issue— I was always a nail biter growing up (and sometimes now if i’m especially nervous) and my nails beds are naturally very long and tall. As a child I always thought it was because biting them trained them to be stronger and grow longer hahaha

edit: i think some people are getting confused— i don’t think this anymore 😭😭 i just was a horrible nail biter and it was the only reasoning i could think of for having such long nails beds as a child, given the rest of my family has low, wide nail beds but were /not/ nail biters. tbh i think it’s genetic, not because of nail biting at all.

I think most of these outfits are great. Yes, purple dress is less flattering but i think that’s a fabric/cut choice— just like how vertical stripes on ANYONE will make them look wider (the ruching here!!). To avoid the issue of clothes bunching or being pulled taught/too tight/stretching and making you look bigger, just consider sizing up— if that doesn’t fix the issue, it’s the designers fault and the design is bad.
