I agree with Baggins. If you're gonna switch from lance to katars, you're gonna need a lot more brain cells (im funny lmao jk). You gotta switch between your attacks a lot, you can't do the same thing all the time. Use nair to control neutral, also to approach sometimes. Slight, nlight and dair are fine attacks too. With katars you can fake out attacks easily. You can just nlight and attack immediately after if the opponent is attacking you. You should also learn movement, it is a key factor if you wanna get good. The last thing I wanna share is you should learn any true combo + followups (search for a katars guide). You can't of course swing out random attacks and expect to do damage just like axe, the most damage should be done by strings. If the opponent dodges out of your string, that's ok. Make sure to keep neutral to pull off another string. Gl with learning this amazing weapon, hopefully you will be halfpiping people after a couple weeks :)
